En 2014, dentro del festival FACYL y junto a la asociación vecinal ZOES del barrio del Oeste de Salamanca, pinté en la calle Wences Moreno un mural de mandalas entrelazados que acompañaba la instalación de Tejiendo la Vida, cuyos mandalas de ganchillo colgaban en la misma fachada.
Los círculos que cientos de mujeres tejieron a ganchillo para el proyecto pasaron a la pared convertidos en pintura: mandalas que se enlazan unos con otros, como se enlazan las manos y las historias de quienes tejen. Fue un homenaje a todas las mujeres que día a día tejen los hilos de la vida, y a esa energía femenina que crea y genera.
In 2014, as part of the FACYL festival and together with ZOES, the residents' association of the Barrio del Oeste in Salamanca, I painted a mural of interwoven mandalas on Calle Wences Moreno, alongside the Tejiendo la Vida installation, whose crochet mandalas hung on the same façade.
The circles that hundreds of women had crocheted for the project moved onto the wall as paint: mandalas linking into one another, just as the hands and stories of those who crochet are linked. It was a tribute to all the women who, day after day, weave the threads of life, and to that feminine energy that creates and gives life.
